Project Overview

Atlanta has a very diverse range of people, representing different cultures from around the globe. I wanted to hone in on the Hispanic community for my guide, and what better place than Plaza Fiesta! Having gone here as a child strengthened my connection to the place, but it felt different coming back as an adult and observing the area. As I took photos, I got to sense each area and see different scopes of everyone’s life. The food was vast, from sweet, salty, to fruity. The spiritual influence was huge, from your Catholic stores to your local botanica. Even the clothing said a lot, from trendy fashions to your wild west fantasies. This guide was showed me a side of Plaza Fiesta I had never thought about before. My goal was to make it as fun and interactive as my time there.
