Katmai is a national park in Alaska, and this project was my way of presenting information in a more interactive and engaging format. The overall design stays minimal while still feeling informative and immersive.
Across pieces like the Unigrid, flipbook, and triangle foldable, I focused heavily on photography to balance the written content and bring the environment to life. Working on this project taught me a lot about information design and how to organize detailed content in a way that feels clear, cohesive, and visually engaging.
Unigrid
A large scale foldable detailing information about Katmai. The back offers a map with a key to different areas and landmarks throughout the park.
Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes Foldable
A foldable encouraging visitors to visit different volcanoes in the valley while learning more about them.
Katmai Bear Guide
A booklet with information about the bears of Katmai, their habits, patterns, and diet.
